I found the TRUE FOUNTAIN OF YOUTH! Results that you can see, feel and believe!

 Here I am at 60 years old. How you look on the outside is just the icing on the cake, but very nice icing indeed when modeled by Coach R.B. Berry.  Most people can't believe my age as I am young in mind, body and spirit.  I am in my 60's passing for 40 something and I can truly keep up with the 30 year olds.   At 58, I was huffing, puffing and grunting climbing stairs.  I joined the gym and by 60 as pictured above I had lost nearly 40 pounds, dropped from 33% body fat to 18% and felt amazing vitality and energy.  By 62 I completed my first marathon.  Before this, the last time I ran was in high school!  It does not matter where you start or what shape you are in now.  It only matters that you do start to transform your health and life.  Simply amazing!  Thanks to my coach for life, R.B. Apple Cake in a Jar)

Apple cake that is sealed in jars and can be given as gifts, or stored for emergencies."

Here's What You Need
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 2/3 cup shortening
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 2/3 cups white sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3 cups grated apple
  • 2/3 cup raisins
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 2/3 cup chopped walnuts
  • 2/3 cup water
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C).
  2. Lightly grease the insides of 8 straight-sided wide-mouth pint canning jars.
  3. Sift together flour, baking soda, salt, nutmeg and cinnamon.
  4. Set aside.
  5. Cream shortening and sugar until fluffy.
  6. Add eggs and beat in well.
  7. Add flour alternately with water and mix until smooth.
  8. Fold in apples, raisins and nuts.
  9. Fill jars 1/2 full of batter, being careful to keep the rims clean.
  10. Wipe off any batter that gets on the rims.
  11. Bake at 325 degrees F (165 degrees C) for 45 minutes.
  12. Meanwhile, sterilize the lids and rings in boiling water.
  13. As soon as cake is done, remove from oven one at a time, wipe rims of jars and put on lid and ring.
  14. Jars will seal as cakes cool.
  15. Place the jars on the counter and listen for them to "ping" as they seal.
  16. If you miss the "ping", wait until they are completely cool and press on the top of the lid.
  17. If it doesn't move at all, it's sealed.
  18. Jars should be eaten or kept in refrigerator for up to a week.
